Shipping information

We take great care to make sure your artwork will arrive safely and in the condition that you have seen displayed. We have three types of shipping depending on the type of artwork you have purchased. Or you can pick up locally in Auckland, New Zealand free of charge.

Ships in a cardboard box

Items that are unframed will typically be shipped in a carboard box, well protected with bubble wrap and acid free paper. We protect the corners of the work still even without a frame. It will also be tightly sealed to keep it safe from moisture.

Ships in a crate

We will ship your work in a wood crate if it is framed or the value of the work is more than $1,000 NZD. The crate will contain bubble wrap and the glass may be wrapped separately. Artwork will be tightly sealed to keep it safe from moisture.

Ships in a tube

We will ship your artwork in a carboard tube for larger works or prints. Rolled work can be re stretched locally. We recommend you take the artwork in the tube to the framer to ensure the quality is preserved.

Frames 

Optional, if you'd like we can remove the painting from the frame which will make your shipping much cheaper because of the weight associated to it. Once you purchase your painting, please contact us and we can arrange a rebate for the difference in shipping costs if applicable. Measurements of paintings are usually including frame size, so if you'd like us to remeasure, please contact us.
